Etang Le Mans is situated 10 minutes from the famous city of Le Mans in the Normandy region of France, within easy reach of the ports of Caen and Le Havre.

As with all the Miller French Lakes, the big-carp and catfish fishing is second to none and have excellent accommodation to suit anglers and families alike.

The capital of the Sarthe region of France and birthplace of the automobile industry, Le Mans is internationally known for its 24 hour automobile race, the '24 Heures Du Mans' - The region itself is rich in art and history and there are plenty of places for the family to visit in and around this famous historic city, including old abbey's, mills and priories.

As you will see from the photographs, this idyllic 10-acre lake is fenced, tree-lined and totally private. With two islands and overhanging tree's and various weed beds the lake offers plenty of scope for the more mobile angler. This venue simply allows you and your party the most enjoyable and peaceful big carp and cat-fishing available in the area.

There is a rowing boat at your disposal and bait-boats are also welcomed at this venue, as with all the Miller's lakes. You can drive around the spacious banks to drop off any tackle at Le Mans but proper parking is at the lakeside house, which is again fully-fitted for the holiday angler.
